When you lowkey finally return to deviantart after 2 years of working in actual art classes DDD What a laugh. It is... interesting, to say the least. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, really, but my complete inability to draw flat shoes was cause for utter hilarity as well as my shading style??? Where was I even going with that? Nowhere, apparently. But regardless, I did try my best, so I can't discount old me too much. Just like younger me, older me isn't all that good with hands either Maybe maybe I'll post art here one day, but I am 100% a traditional artist nowadays - full on oil paintings and the works. Not really deviantart style (unless of course you can complete full on traditional works in a flash in which case I salute you you are my hero.) Not sure why I'm really writing this since most of my old friends have probably moved on already as well. I guess it's more for closure than anything else. I did love this space once, a long time ago. Part of me still does, but that part of me was then, I suppose.

Time will tell.

It has been ages since I've actually been on DA, but moving to a new city and starting a new school does that to people. I've sort of taken up writing instead of drawing (although that has at least improved considerably) but if I ever get a drawing tablet (as was supposed to be my birthday present last year September) I'm sure I'll spend a lot more time here on DA. Maybe even do some art with book concepts. But we'll see

So my computer crashed yesterday while I was in Sai and when I switched it back on everything was gone. All of my old stuff. WIPs and things I had yet to post. I spent most of today attempting to salvage what I had but nada. Everything is gone. I can't figure out where it went and even my backup copies only have the stuff I had finished so I guess it bye-bye to all those old projects. It's really depressing. I guess I saw it coming though, my computer's been weird for a while now though why it deleted everything I will never understand.

So today I leave on band tour. I won't have internet until Tuesday evening next week so bye!
